The Wildlife Center promotes responsible coexistence between human and wildlife population and helps preserve the greatest possible diversity of life.

As a nationally recognized education and rehabilitation facility, The Wildlife Center preserves wildlife by actively educating people to care for ecosystems and by rehabilitating and releasing wild animals into safe habitats.

 

Seeking Executive Director

The Wildlife Center, New Mexico's only wildlife hospital and education center, located on 20 acres 18 miles north of Santa Fe, seeks a full-time executive director. The executive director oversees all operations, manages a staff of eight, and is responsible for fund development and management with a current budget of approximately $500,000 in an organization that is poised for significant expansion. Candidate must have fund development skills (both individual donor and foundation based) as well as personnel and financial management expertise, and must be comfortable working with governmental agencies.
